...Less is More...

This site is to be a location where collaborative information can be shared, discussed and updated, for the benefit of a wide variety of persons whose lives intersect in some way with the world of Autism Spectrum Disorders.

It is intended that the information provided be of practical application, positive in nature, and focused on improving the quality of life in some way, for ALL PERSONS involved in this effort, but in a special way for families.

Up and running...

Definitely a 'process' to learn to 'blog'!
However, I have finally gotten the site development established and can continue to add information to the blog now on a continuing, regular basis (weekly at least).

HOWEVER, I have learned also, that a "blog" is a NEW CONCEPT to many!  So, in a few words, I will try to instruct
on the process of 'how to' with this site.
  1.  read what you want on any page;
  2.  look for the spot in the area where you read something for a 'comment' or 'post' word--click on it;
  3.  a box will appear where you can type in what you want to say--tell, ask, remark, question;
  4.  when finished writing, find a place to click that says 'publish', and it will appear on a page!
  5.  If you want to be a 'regular' blog partner, please go the right side spot where it says "followers" and click on "join".

There have been MANY readers so far, and some wonderful and helpful comments to me in e-mails, but it seems I missed the part that HERE, ON SITE at "Sharingautismideas" is where we do our written conversation and interaction.  (for those of you who have had students in my class over the years, this is like a giant, web-based, "home-school notebook" we can ALL share!)
This blog will grow in use and usefulness the more questions, comments, and items we share!

I look forward to 'blogging' with you...Kathi
